Financial Aid

At Bradford, we understand the fear that you won’t be able to afford your education. To help, we offer, at no additional cost, individualized assistance in developing a financial plan that works for you. Our experience is that almost everyone who wants to attend Bradford can afford it.

Although the total cost varies from program to program, there are some common features that help make them affordable. Tuition rates do not increase for an individual student each year if the student remains enrolled full-time. Good estimates of costs for residence facilities, books, supplies, and uniforms are included in each financial plan.

There are several types of financial aid programs available for those who qualify:

  • Federal Pell Grants
  • Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants
  • Pennsylvania State Grant
  • Federal Direct Subsidized Stafford Loans
  • Federal Direct Unsubsidized Stafford Loans
  • Federal Direct PLUS Loans (Parent Loans)
  • Federal Perkins Loans
  • Pittsburgh Promise
  • Alternative and Personal Loans
  • Installment Payment Plans
  • Scholarships

Career Placement

Having successfully placed graduates for over 40 years, we are well-established with employers in Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania. Our placement department proactively works with graduates to identify employment opportunities, secure and schedule interviews with employers, and follow up to negotiate starting salaries. As a Bradford graduate, you will continue to have access to our placement services and resources.

The placement department’s help doesn’t just start after graduation. As you approach your graduation day, our placement advisors can begin to work with you to prepare for the transition from student to professional by:

  • Hosting mock interviews to practice answering those tricky questions
  • Assisting with creating a resume and/or portfolio that stands out
  • Assisting in identifying potential employers
  • Polishing your negotiating skills for when you get the job offer

Best of all, these services are at no additional cost to students, recent graduates, and alumni.
